Farmers, government express dismay over national industrial hemp ruling

Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association president Wayne Johnston said the decision to not allow hemp seeds and oil to be used in products such as health bars, salad oils and non-dairy cheeses was "incredibly disappointing".

"Where's the logistics in allowing hemp seed oil to be sold as a food in New Zealand, but not in Australia?" he asked.
